When does the application open?
LLU typically begins accepting applications for away rotations in May of each year. This date is subject to change, so please be checking VSAS/VSLO regularly. Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis, and students are notified of decisions in a timely manner.
What are your application requirements?
For applications, we require
- Letter of intent (explain why you want to rotate at Loma Linda)
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Step 1 and/or COMLEX scores
- Immunization records
- Photograph
- Current health insurance coverage
- Current affiliation agreement (your school can help you prepare this)
- Transcript
Do you have a Step 1 score cut off?
Loma Linda University School of Medicine does not have a Step 1 cut off.
Do you accept DO students?
We accept both MD and DO students.
Is there a tuition fee?
We do not charge a tuition fee.
Is lodging provided?
Lodging is not provided; however, you may contact Loma Linda Student Housing for available places to stay.
Additionally, many rooms for rent are available at the Loma Linda Trading Post.
