The Loma Linda Emergency Medicine Medical Education Fellowship is a flexible, non-ACGME program designed to launch careers in academic emergency medicine. Based in the Loma Linda University Medical Center's Department of Emergency Medicine, the fellowship offers a customizable one- or two-year pathway, with the option to pursue a Master’s in Health Professions Education. Fellows build a strong foundation in learning theory, bedside and didactic teaching, and educational scholarship while tailoring their training in undergraduate, graduate, simulation, or international medical education. Through close mentorship and hands-on clinical teaching in a high-volume emergency department, fellows develop the skills and confidence to become impactful leaders in medical education.
